A great opportunity, well...no more...?!

About 2 to 3 weeks ago I was being asked to do a written test for an agency in China, normally I hate doing written test but since it's for a big computer company, I was excited about it, so I completed and return it.

After a week, they asked me to do another one since the client would like to see the accuracy and creativity, and I did it within a very fast turnaround, and I was so anxious about the result...I waited and waited until a week or so later, the agent finally gave me an answer by email!

Well...it turned out the client chose another translator instead, of course I was disappointed, but well, I guess life's like this, sometimes you hit and sometimes you miss.

But the funny thing is, when I am still in my disappointment, the agent asked me whether going on trip (with the other translator) to the company HQ is ok for me! I was happy yet a bit worried because of swine flu, anyways, nothing is certain yet, But I do hope to have the chance to actually go to their HQ, it would be such an experience!
